Himno Zapatista

Arrangement related sound file(s):

The Himno Zapatista is the anthem of the Zapatista Army of National Liberation (EZLN), a political group which launched a rebellion in the Mexican state of Chiapas on January 1, 1994. The music was taken from a Mexican Revolution corrido "Carabina 30-30".

NOTE: Sound file is in the incorrect key, but may be useful for figuring out the rhythm.

Notes:

NOTE:
1) Now reflected in the the sheet music - we have inserted space for the 2 solos (usually a variation of the A or B melody part) First solo is a melody instrument, 2nd is a low brass instrument.

2) Melody (ie: trumpets): don't fill in the A part by playing the B part as they differ rhythmically. (See clarinet chart).

We've got a bunch of versions of the sheet music for this song and I'm not sure I put the right ones up or that I got everything. A little help would be appreciated sorting this out. -andrew
